Project Manager

The Eurofit Group is a Tier 1 supplier to the international automotive industry. As a specialist partner, the Eurofit Group delivers complete wheels to the production lines of vehicle manufacturers. The specified tire and rim combinations for individual vehicles are delivered “just-in-time” and “just-in-sequence” for the production schedule of the vehicle manufacturer. Eurofit, the market leader, manufactured and delivered approximately 26,3 million wheels in 2018.

Today, with our 1200 associates spread across Assembly Plants in 10 countries on three continents, we offer to numerous OEMs the most cutting-edge technology in TWA and batches / sequencing deliveries and a full set of services, such as Administration, Financing, Logistic, Production and Quality.

PROJECT MANAGER

starting at MCSS Böblingen

Mission of the job:

As Project Manager you lead projects within EUROFIT in line with Group Operations Policies, Procedures and Instructions. After the project assignment you will be responsible for managing the project team, the scope, and the project resources and be continuously reporting all results achieved. You can be responsible for multiple projects in a range from setting up a new green field operation, restructuring existing plants to setting up a new line or anew machine, launching of a new model car, or any other project task.

Key result areas & responsibilities:

  • Lead project in accordance with EUROFIT Project Management Methodology (e.g., use organisational and process assets, formats, best practices, procedures)
  • Ensure that the project is properly tracked, a sound risk management process is performed and results are continuously communicated to all relevant parties
  • Ensure that during the project phases all health and safety requirements for the project team and other stakeholders are respected
  • Permanently ensure that budget, timeline and deliverables are within the agreed project scope
  • Contribute to the project team building and train the team members in project management methodology
  • Ensure a transparent communication in any phase of the Project at all levels
  • In the project closing phase take thorough care to hand over the project to Operations
  • After project closing contribute to the group’s knowledge exchange in the form of a post-project best practices workshop
  • Participate in project meetings with Clients / Project Team / Eurofit

What you bring:

  • Proven track record in Project Management
  • Agile or Prince 2 qualification
  • Qualified in MS Project and Excell
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive industry, JIT and JIS delivery
  • SAP knowledge would be a strong plus
  • You are a target driven teamplayer with a hands-on mentality and exceptional organization and coordination skills
  • Willingness to travel also for a longer periods of time
  • German native speaker or equivalent, Fluent in English
  • Practical knowledge on Manufacturing, IT, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Quality, Finance
